I have used style sheets to set tables within a doc of a certain class to display:none. Sounds like this is not a parted problem so then the div tags will have to be before and after the problem tags. If the data you want to display is also in tables you can wrap it in a div which the style sheet says does display tables... Of course many variations on this approach will also be possible.
