Sounds closer. Hmm...will it do a tree? Doesn't look like it from
here... 

What I've got is a whole bunch of file trees scattered across a number
of machines. Some of these trees have been copied at some point. I'd
like to de-dupe them.

Luckily, I have a mirror of the whole f-in show on one machine. So, I
can, for each directory, reference the list of files (and their other
attributes) and work upwards.

Hmmm...
