That's good to know. I'll re-read the license. I haven't done that for a few years :-)
Basically there is a lot of code out there that is familiar with MySQL's flavour of SQL and therefore works with MySQL out of the box.Second, why anyone still uses MySQL on a new installation now that PostgreSQL has surpassed it and gone on to being a "baby Oracle", while MySQL plays "catch up", I can't figure out.
