You might really say that this is a problem of Open Source as a whole.
Its marketing really sucks.


I keep on saying that I specialise in Open Source knowing that most of my clients already write software to some extent - and then other people come along and tell me that my marketing has to be along the lines of

"Sell the benefit - not the technology".

So how does that apply to perl? what could anyone do differently now
which hasn't been done over the last five years?
