We are getting a bit off topic but we can't be too dismissive of the spooky issues that would go with the control flow of generators. Even if implemented on delimited continuations, and even if thread confined, there are a bunch of related to reachability and breaking structure. There's enough there to keep a market for Ghostbuster proton packs going for a few years.
