Not quite what you're after... but I've gotten Bochs to work on my
Yeeloong.  I was using it to experiment with some homebrew i386 kernels
in an attempt to port FreeRTOS to i386 protected mode.  (crossdev has
built me a nice mipsel-linux-gnu->i386-elf toolchain to use.)

Bochs isn't exactly quick, but then again, cross-architecture emulation
rarely is.
