Thanks Moinuddin and Kawal. I am glad that most of us think on the same
lines and Moinuddin can you tell me something about what you do, I mean the
services you can offer, any specific field or in general? Also, kindly let
me know the city you belong to?

And Zeeshan, many thanks for your comment. It gives a chance to clear many
things. You have all the rights to disagree but I believe that we are not
being pop-cultured patriotic. You can call it patriotism, but not stereotype
it as pop-cultured patriotic. Many of my friends around me also ask the same
question "what are our policy makers doing" and if we are given a chance we
will also leave and settle abroad. We are losing great minds,
engineers, consultants but there is nothing worthwhile being done here to
adjust them on our own soil..same is the case with the number of
doctors(Phds) we are producing - sending them abroad and from pakistani unis
as well - HEC is providing huge funding for doing Phds...after few years
there will be a huge influx of doctors from inside and outside(when they are
all done with their degrees)....i wonder what is our future policy to
accommodate them all with good pays. But then in the end, the only thing
comes into my mind is that some will have to compromise a little on pay
scales and all ,to bring some change even if gradually....after all we all
make sacrifices for our families and home....compromises for our country
will only come if we own our country as home...i guess we as a nation are
missing patriotism somewhere in our upbringings....parents have been (and
still are) raising their children telling what a crap Pakistan is...we need
to tell yes it has become crap but now you have to make contribution to
correct it a little.

I don't think that only "Peer-e-kamil' can bring a change. I think an
ordinary person can bring a change( if properly groomed which WE can to some
extent via seminar and media etc) . If our leaders are jerks, then why
shouldn't we become the change we want to be?Are we as citizen fulfilling
the responsibilities that we expect our leaders to?

If I become the President, I wont list down something as top priority since
everything is at top priority. Everyhting needs attention. If day and night
meetings can be conducted for Judiciary issue only, why cant they be
conducted with so much importance to address energy crisis issue, education
issue, security issue etc.

Sorry for being too long. Just went with the flow.
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards,
Irum
