DEAR FRIENDS, WE SHOULD ALL FORGET WETHER WE R PUNJABIS, SINDHIS, BALOCH OR PATHAN AND BE UNITED, FORGET OUR DIFFERENCES AND STRIVE FOR PEACE, STABILITY AND PROSPERITY OF PAKISTAN. 'PAKISTAN FIRST' SHOULD BE OUR SLOGAN. WE SHOULD ALSO SHOW TOLERANCE IN OUR VIEWS, BE IT, ISLAM OR POLITICS. WE SHOULD LEARN TO RESPECT THE VIEWS OF OTHERS AND AT THE SAME TIME GIVE OUR POINT OF VIEW IN A MORE DIGNIFIED MANNER. LAST NIGHT I WAS WATCHING LUCMAN SHOW AND HE WAS SPEAKING AS IF HE IS THE RIGHTFUL INTERPRETER OF THE WORDS OF ALLAH AND OTHERS DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING OR DID NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO THEIR OWN INTERPRETATION. THEN WE HAD DR. AAMIR LIAQAT DOING A SHOW ON REMOVING MUSHARRAF ON HIS AALIM-ON-LINE. I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY HE HAD TO USE HIS RELIGIOUS PLATFORM TO ADVOCATE POLITICS. Do you think anyone is willing to work, including me! anyone willing to stand up against the monotonous routine that we have been facing all our lives since we have been born into the mother land? no my dear brother, no, nothing is going to change, and you know why that is! because we are urdu speaking, punjabi, pathan,sindhi first, we are not pakistanis, we don't take pride with who we are! i agree with your guest! she said we are extremists in every walk of life and yes we are, iam a proud muslim, but iam not proud to be a pakistani muslim, that's cause they have a different religion from what islam really teaches us! people here want to deal with the petty things of life not looking at the broader picture of the horizon and do you think they will actually do that? I lost hope with my country, i think you should too! my decreasing posts, my decreasing views are a result of my hopelessness! i am soo sad to see our people not moved or even bothered by what's happening around us! our people up north are being killed but yet you see full bazaars of people shopping for Eid! What eid, is their any happiness around us! is God really accepting any of our prayers? we want to fast but then we want to break the signals, we will abuse any car that comes in our way, stare at any woman wearing capris, throw litter on the road! and yet we say we are fasting! does that permit us to disrespect our country! disrespect our home, is it our ticket to high way? " humaray log bayhaal nahin , bayhis hain" they are the reason for what's happening to this country! a Nation that does not believe in standup for themselves how do you expect a messiah will come for them? a savior? we blame the british ( for partition), we blame the government (ate our country and went away)! then what the hell are you doing voting them back! the problem lies in the brains of our people, the ones who are eating this country up are doing exactly what they did before, how did you make it any better with your votes? how did you make it any better by standing up for what you know is your right!! i have always been taught that God doesn't help those who don't help themselves, so the prayers, the tarawih will do no good! because we have bought this upon ourselves, we don't respect our own religion, so do you think that people are moved by the mosque surrounded with garbage!! My brother people like you, my mother (shireen) cannot make a difference and you never will, you will loose hope, you will become suicidal, you will see all of this happening yet see the nation sleeping! a nation that blames the government even if they get AIDS! but will never see the fault in themselves, a nation that doesn't realize that they can outbeat any government because we are large in number! I told my mother the same thing all these years your efforts of making things right, getting your self into trouble, getting threat/rude calls for the things you say! what will you achieve, mails, feedback, calls and then what its the dark night and new morning and all is the same! trust me the problem lies with us not with anyone else! i was soo proud to be a pakistani! but now i feel its like a slap on my face and each passing day i hate it more! i hate being where iam, i hate being a part of a religion where people read arabic and think "darn aren't i cool i know my abc" sorry they know jack and they have bought trouble on them selves and on others along with them! our religion teaches us to stand up for our selves everyone in history did! if you expect a Musa or Essa or Mohamad (SAW) to come down and start a revolution its not going to happen! trust me woh bhi hum say panah mangaingay! i wish i could be the next Khomeini and shoot every single bloody looter down! violence has never been my thing, but then its the only solution at times isn't it! I havnt come across worst people than us! and this will never change, you will loose hope soon and go away! trust me brother! it wont work it never has and it never will! our people like living this way and they bring it on them each time, people of pakistan don't respect the country because they don't respect themselves!
