'll go into our (muslim) history first...... we were on top of the world at one time, and were busy in constructing wonders, the roots from where the CHAPLOOSI culture began, satisfaction of false ego, creed and class discrimination, misuse of power and authority, alteration, ammendment in constitutions and even the holy scriptures.
a hindu didn't began it unfortunately. extracted from the program : pakistan came into being because of social injustice, hindu dominant society, religious discrimination, inequality and more. now lets see 1947, pakistan was born on the basis of ideological differences (the two nation theory), to take care of the inequality, injustice issues, religious independence etc. than in 1971, bangladesh was born on the basis of the same ideology (the two nation theory) today we have the effects of 2 nation theory in every home, galli, mohala, street, organization and every industry in Pakistan. Trust Me. And in 2008, those same OPPORTUNITIST who fought for the "independence" in 1947, don't want to live in Pakistan anymore, looking for another resort (the UK, USA, Australia, anything except pakistan. The point is, that we've always taken support of lame excuses only in the name of religion, (inequality, injustice, everything somehow relates to our religion). MUSLIMS are living more peacefully in INDIA today, they're prospering, growing like nobody's business, they're on top of the world. the khans are the kings, azhar uddins, kaif's.... i know families who're so proud of being INDIANS. so where's the ideological differences? i don't understand this... people who fought for their "freedom", one of them is on streets, begging.... what a pity. (reference to the old man you interviewed at bahadurabad) I feel that people were not fighting for their religion or freedom, they wanted to be in control, power, rule the world, Pakistan appeared to them the shortest way to success. As people want to go to USA today and they think everything will be green there, right..... same was the picture in the mind of people who were fighting in 1947, who wanted an independent state where they could DO ANYTHING (piss, shit, spit, wall chalk, violate law) ANYTHING, and nobody could tell them what to do and what not to. in short, badmaashi karnay ki liye ek JUNGLE chahiye tha, and Allah granted them their wish, at the cost of a million lives i guess. I don't care how people lost their lives fighting for a cause, but for those who died for no reason AND were raped, abused, burnt or buried alive, slaughtered.....
