hello.. so sorry to keep bugging u about the pics but please send me or put up
on facebook the ankahi eid day 1 show pictures.
and i wanted to inquire about the solution meeting.
we should have it really soon otherwise people would get busy with exams.and in
november we have all those MUN's by serveral institutions so im assuming that a
few kids would be involved in that too.
and i dont know if i should really give u suggestions because i am too young
and definitely not as well read as u are but for the composition of solution
team we should definitely have the following people on the team:
1.people with the knowledge of how to write working papers and forming draft
resolutions.
2.people who can be a good resource for information based on statistics and
facts.(not every good resource is a good speaker) and i am assuming that people
with good% or high grades would serve the purpose.
3.people who can come up with a quick strong stance for the whole team to stick
to.
4.on the first day of meeting,we all should write a self realization
letter#1.this letter should be sealed and not to be disclosed until the next
meeting.in the next meeting another such letter should be written mentioning
the aims and objectives achieved from the last meeting and the ones yet to be.
or we could have an entire different * claim the aim note* for every
meeting.this would help us evaluate our position and give a better idea of how
to go about things.
5.victims of child labour and those who are street children must be the focus.(
and street children doesnt include street beggars at any cost, because they
share the same signal many beggars seem to avail the opportunity and the
deserving ones are deprived.)
6.we all will be needing a psychologist, not just for the people but also for
ourselves.
7.personally i think that visits to old houses and edhi centres and other such
places is of no use.so rather than going to such places and taking deir
interview (which gives them absolutely nothing) we should go there to locate
people with potential and ability to work with us.so that we will have a
representative of all such places from amongst themselves only.
8.we should use the street kids to enforce the traffic laws.by this i mean that
when the signal is red, two kids would be appointed and each would run on
either sides of the road with a big banner or something so that cars are unable
to move forward.and we reward them for this service.
9.we should be able to locate a few places in karachi which are exposed to dirt
and require plantation the most.so our aim would be to develop nurseries and
plant a few trees there.and these trees should not be those heavy ones just to
give shade but some fruitful ones too.by fruitful, i just dont mean fruits but
other edibles.for example lime,green chilli,papaya,mint
leaves,corriander,guava,tomatoes and many other such plants can be very easily
grown and taken care of. and then we can ofcourse appoint a gardener and a
guard to protect that and we could sale those edibles at a very very cheap
price which i am sure would cut down the cost of living for the poor and would
bring about a HUGE change! ( so what if we lack wheat? people can ofcourse
survive on other stuff too!)
i have a lot more to write but i shall tel dat to u sometime later because i
have to rush right now.i hope u like my ideas.n if not then i trust u for
having much better ideas.may God help us.
