Hi,

Deane Richan has released Xito BootStrap a native
Windows exectuable that can kick off your Java apps
using Web Start XML startup scripts.

  Deane Richan writes:

Just download BootStrap and unzip it into a
directory of your choice. Modify the boot.properties
to specify the application name and URL of the Web
Start XML startup script. Then just rename the
myapp.exe to the name of your app and double click it
to launch your app. The win32 executable will
automatically find the installed Java runtime on the
machine and launch your Web Start app.

The Web Start app and jars can reside on your
harddrive or on the internet.

Xito BootStrap is part of the Xito umbrella project
and licensed under the GNU Library General Public
License (LGPL).
