Hi,
I've uploaded the Lopica Web Start XML Startup
Script Browser Beta 2 that lets you explore - suprise,
suprise - Web Start XML startup scripts.
What's new in Beta 2?
To help you find and organize Web Start XML Startup
Scripts the browser now supports the OPML XML format
so you can create channel guides or playlists.
Before you tune out let me show you an OPML XML
format example to see what it's all about:
<opml version="1.1">
<head>
<title>Web Start Application Directory</title>
</head>
<body>
<outline text="Games">
<outline text="Military Game" type="link"
url="http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/apps/mg.jnlp"/>
<outline text="Topbridge Bridge Client"
type="link"
url="http://www.topbridge.com/topbridge/jnlp/topb.jnlp"/>
</outline>
</body>
</opml>
The OPML format lets you organize your Web Start
Startup Scripts in folders using XML so you can easily
share your Web Start channel guide or playlist with
whoever deserves your gratitude.
Note, the browser ships with a build in Web Start
channel guide to help you get started that you can
call up by typing in chrome://guide/example.opml into
the web address box.
As an alternative you can also directly browse Web
Start XML startup scripts as usual (that is, without
using channel guides/playlists) by typing in the web
address in the text box e.g.
