  Joe Winchester wrote in to tell us that a longer
version of the WebSphere Journal article titled
"Developing Java Client Applications Using Java Web
Start and WebSphere Studio: Using JWS avoids the
problems associated with traditional applets" that now
seems locked up behind a subscription (when just two
days ago it was accessible for free) is available for
free at IBM's DeveloperWorks site.
