You mean the system memory limits mentioned above? Those are default limits on CentOS. I could increase them but generally I've never see anyone reach those limits. The defining limit is usually set by the application / coding engine so I think I just need to figure out why the rails app is setting a low memory limit. The image is very small (10px by 10px). I'll keep this updated on my progress.
