The good news is that my installation is now working, at least on the
hostgator account. The bad news is that it takes multiple attempts by
so-called experts of RoR hosting to get gems running correctly. I now
have a basic site responding on my URL though it only shows the "cool
graphic goes here" image and a login box and some text options which
means I will now work on figuring out what CSS etc need to be
created.

Question - once the out of the box install runs, should it look like
the "broken" html page I am seeing or similar in layout and background
etc. to what try.lovdbyless.com has?

Wonder if anyone here has any templates they found and used that were
simple for a newbie. Thank you.

Imran
