I have a Powermac 7100 with a G3 card (PDS 266MHZ) running system 8.5.1 with
104 megs of ram (2 sets of 32, two sets of 16, 8 built in). A few days ago I
had several applications open and everything quit like I was shutting down and
then then screen started flickering, not quite flickering, but more like it was
cycling through several screens very quickly. The icons on the desktop would
appear and then disappear. The same for open folders and the mouse arrow.
Occasionaly a blank dialogue box would also appear. I turned off the power and
ran everything I could think of and found no problems. It happened again
yesterday. What is it, and what can I do about it? Thanks for any help.

P.S. This is only my second Mac. Really my first. My parents got one in 84,
and then I got this one in 97 when I went back to college. I will miss it if it
has to go. Somebody please have an answer.
