I'm trying to install an Apple 300i internal SCSI CD-ROM drive in a Centris
650. The drive is jumpered to use SCSI ID 3, it's in the middle of the SCSI
chain with termination disabled, and the hard drive is at the end of the
chain, set to SCSI ID 0, and it's terminated.
The drive is recognized by all the SCSI utilities I've tried, but the
Centris doesn't recognize any Macintosh CD-ROMs I put in. The CD-ROM drive
is *supposedly* good.
I've tried parity on and off with no difference. I've got the Apple CD-ROM
extension 5.4 in the System Folder / Extensions folder and it loads OK
during boot.
Any thoughts?
