Good points,
Dana.
So if Steve has simply
walked off without informing us, the Platform Committee now consists of five
people. Nor have we heard from Jim for a week. Jim, are you still
here? And Paul is on vacation? I hope to have one of those
someday.
It seems that Dana, John
& Gregg are in some measure trying to keep the ball rolling, & waiting
another week to see who's still here will not be a problem for a long-term
analysis cmte., but we do wonder.
Yes, I read the Nat'l
Platform before attempting anything for Colorado.
We have begun to discuss
Colorado issues, but I believe that we should really begin by formulating the
method by which we do business. With consent of two or three others, I am
anxious to enumerate (reiterate) principles & methodry we can successfully
use to successfully initiate & carry out our charge. May I have two or
three votes to continue, beginning with fundamental function of this
body? Gregg

Well I think some of us are busy as in
Paul.
Has anyone read the platform completely & in
full on the lp.org site????
I ask b/c it has been changed &
updated. National was making changes to the platform during the election cycle
as I was a member of the database. I agree with there platform & only see
a couple of areas where we might be questioned-like what is our criteria for
determining "adult"....
Like I posted yesterday, I don't see where it
states anymore that we want our soldiers to have the right to quit
service.
Steve does not receive a-mail from me . So if
this isn't posted to
he never see's it. As my e-mail attempted to
deliver the e-mail for 24 hours to him yesterday, last week
etc...
Go look at the platform & tell me what you
would like to see changed or addressed.
If someone is going to do something on
agriculture in Colorado I found this link the other day.
Colorado's Flood & Stormwater
Managers
Thanks John for getting back with us it was
appreciated. We all are busy . Until we get some participation I
suppose we could list our own issues with eachother & toss'em around until
someone else decides to offer some input.
Thanks,
Dana
.

I agree. We need to hear from people once
in awhile. I don't mind taking our time; we needn't rush. It's
just that we haven't heard responses from some in awhile. Does anyone
find that they are going to be too busy to stay on the
committee? Gregg

Hello in cyberland..... where have you
all disappeared to? I know Paul is away until Feb 7th.
We have a job to do. Unless of course
you think I should just keep quiet & do nothing....:(
ahammmm!!!!
I have a full plate the next couple of months
& desire to know what is going on in my schedule., As well as other
people & I would like to see some progress .
It is not fair to Gregg & I to know
nothing about what is going on.
Can I get a response from this
committee???
I need some issues to pursue if I am going to
be a help to the platform.
Get moving or "get outta the
way".....:)
