You don't seem to understand what a platform is.   It is difficult trying to have a discussion by e-mail, because you don't respond for a  days or weeks to messages.     There are issues that should be ignored in the platform, because there is no reason to try and hold every candidate to the majorities (?) opinion on every issue.   In some candidates races in the past they were greatly hampered by things in the platform, which was used, twisted, and thrown in their face by the opposition.   There are differences of opinion even among libertarians and Libertarians.   In your draft younot only list too many issues, but additionly, include positions that are devicive among libertarians.

The idea is to draw the circle wide enough to take in the maximum number of libertarian leaning peopl, instead of drawing it so narrow that it even shuts out manny good libs.

I hope that you start replying to our messages, and start using the [EMAIL PROTECTED] address and stop spaming those who are outside the committee.   Let us agree to throw it out on the chatlist for more opinions before any of us post outside what we a re discussing.   In short let us have a continuing dialog, or I think we may need to sit down in the same room, which is very incovenient  for me at this time.   jal

Dana, National deals with the issue.  I believe that we must in some way deal with all Colorado issues.  We may find ways to improve positions, but we should not ignore any.    Gregg
