Linux Professional Institute Announces Haansoft Corporation as Korean
Affiliate

(Seoul, Korea: June 5, 2006) The Linux Professional Institute (LPI),
(http://www.lpi.org), the world's premier Linux certification
organization, announced Haansoft Corporation (http://www.haansoft.com)
as its Master Affiliate for Korea. This initiative in Korea represents
a key component of LPI's Regional Enablement Initiative in North East Asia.

“We are delighted to welcome Haansoft to our worldwide team of Master
Affiliates. They are the final cornerstone in our efforts to promote
Linux professionalism within CJK (China, Japan, and Korea). Haansoft
Corporation was a natural choice for LPI given the company's deep roots
in both industry and government sectors in Korea and its leading
reputation as a developer of Linux-based software in South Korea," said
Jim Lacey, President and CEO of LPI. Mr. Lacey also noted that
Haansoft's Linux distribution, Haansoft Linux is a member of the Asianux
consortium which also includes Red Flag Software Co., Ltd. (of China),
and Miracle Linux Corporation (of Japan). "We look forward to working
with Haansoft in promoting collaborative efforts with Asianux on Linux
certification and with the Korean government's own Linux certification
program," said Mr. Lacey.

Daniel Cho, Senior Director of Sales Division, Haansoft Corporation was
similarly optimistic and stated that this relationship with LPI would be
beneficial to the growing adoption of Linux in Korea: "We believe our
representation of LPI in Korea will emphasize that LPI is a
widely-accepted global Linux certification and lead to the greater
adoption of LPI as a professional IT standard in our country. We
appreciate LPI's history and efforts to promote Linux professionalism
and the importance of its certification program in verifying Linux
technical skills. LPI will greatly assist our efforts at Haansoft to
increase the number of advanced Linux users in Korea and significantly
grow the local Linux market," said Daniel Cho. Mr. Cho added that the
LPI program was one of the best ways for Linux users in Korea to obtain
a professional Linux certification that was globally recognized.

Haansoft Corporation is the leading Linux company in Korea, providing a
Linux operating system and other Linux-based applications to both
desktop users and enterprise customers. Haansoft's powerful Linux
environment includes such groupware and office applications as Thinkfree
and Haangul. In particular, Haangul products have sold over 10 million
copies throughout the world and have achieved a much higher domestic
market share in Korea than similar Microsoft products. Haansoft has
also proven its technical excellence in Linux by securing a NEIS
(National Education Information System) project which is one of the
largest Linux deployment projects in the world.
