LPI Announces First Approved Training Partner in the Netherlands

(Toronto, Canada and Kassel, Germany: January 29, 2007) The Linux
Professional Institute (LPI), the premier Linux certification
organization worldwide (http://www.lpi.org), announced AT Computing
(http://www.atcomputing.nl) of Nijmegen and Utrecht, as LPI's first LPI
Approved Partner (LPI-ATP) in the Netherlands. AT Computing is the
largest and oldest Unix/Linux training company in the Dutch market. AT
Computing has also recently created LPI's first Dutch language LPI
Approved Training Materials (LPI-ATM).

"We are proud to welcome AT Computing to our global network of LPI
Approved Training Partners. Given AT Computing's stature and long
history, their decision to promote LPI certification demonstrates the
growing importance of our program to Linux professionalism in the
Netherlands," said Jim Lacey, President and CEO of LPI. Mr. Lacey noted
strong support from the region in the development of the LPIC-3
certification program and added that LPI has seen increasing numbers of
exam candidates in the country since LPI first participated in
LinuxWorld Utrecht two years ago.

Henk M. Keller, director of AT Computing, reiterated the growing
importance of LPI Certification in the Netherlands: "We are pleased that
LPI recognizes us as an LPI Approved Training Partner. We have felt for
years that the Linux community vitally needs a vendor-independent
certification and we will continue, now more vigorously, to promote LPI
in the Netherlands. LPI's independence makes its' certification programs
more valuable for candidates, employers and training institutes alike."
AT Computing started in 1985 as a spin-off of Nijmegen University. The
company was among the very first users of the internet infrastructure in
the Netherlands, and the first commercial company in the Netherlands to
have a company website.

Mr.Lacey also stated that since LPI renewed its training partner program
in November (see:
http://www.lpi.org/en/lpi/english/news/news/lpi_announces_new_training_partner_program)
the organization has added many new training partners. In the last few
weeks, LPI has added new LPI-ATM partners Just-in-Time Resources of
Calgary, Canada (http://www.jitresources.com) and AT Computing
(http://www.atcomputing.nl) and the following LPI-ATPs:
* Clear Dimension Ltd., Malta
* Touch Solutions Incorporated, Philippines (www.touchgroup.net)
* Metamarketing Service, Italy (http://www.metamarketing.it)

LPI’s training partner program (LPI-ATP) is designed to recognize
publishers, schools and training centers who have met LPI criteria. The
LPI-ATP program is open to all qualified participants: those using LPI
approved courseware (LPI-ATM) delivered by qualified instructors and
upholding a common code of ethics. These recognized partners promote
their affiliation with the Linux Professional Institute as an indication
of their commitment to educational quality and the advancement of Linux
certification. Additional information on the LPI-ATP program can be
