I have only implemented AFS in passing, and almost strictly
limited to use in existing Kerberos 5 realms (using the krb4
compatibility and probably more of a "hacked" setup compared to
someone like yourself).
I never meant to accuse you of hypocrisy, Bryan. And I think I agree
with your basic position, to the extent I can (I am trying to track, but
not influence what is in LPIC-3*. I'm just trying to stick up for guys
like Steve Holdoway. They are just trying to keep Samba in sight in
this discussion, and they are seeing a huge dust cloud of NFSv4 flying
up in the air.
