The Ubuntu UCP cert covers a surprising number of Desktop configuration
issues, per

It's an LPI exam, LPI199.

I think much of the other stuff mentioned is in the Ubuntu desktop
course - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Training - but I haven't checked it out
in detail.
