Does the concept of "tutorials" for an advanced exam ring huge alarm
bells in your heads like it does in mine? I consider that someone who
desires a study guide for an expert exam is in no position to be
remotely close to writing the exam. Such a person does not need a study
guide, they need another three years behind the keyboard gaining real
world experience.

This is what I keep telling people who ask us to send them our training manuals »for LPIC-1, LPIC-2, and LPIC-3«. They tend to not like this answer.

I suggest to make a difference between a tutorial for self study (that is at a beginner's level) and a "tutorial" that is a kind of reminder before taking an exam (for the expert with a lot of practice).

To be fair I have to say that even after years of practice, I still haven't touched *all* the options (not to talk about the long-options) of all the commands and config files - well nearly all -, and I personally find it helpful to prepare myself for an exam with some kind of "tutorial" that gives a brief description of all the stuff I must keep in mind.

Just that. I share Your opinions.
