I'm pretty sure that I sat in front of a computer for my LPIC-1 exams,
which stood in Munich, BTW. :)

Actually you have the choice between paper exams (at booths,
conferences,...) and computer based ones (Prometric, VUE). I didn't
have to pay the bill but I heard that the computer based exams cost
about 150..180 EUR each and there are two of them (101 + 102).

I didn't know, that there is a exam in front of a computer!
Thats really intresting. And - of course - there are two exams, it doesn't 
matter wich exam-type (Computer / Paper) you choose. If you've passed both of 
them, you'll get the LPI Certification Level 1. There are two exams for level 2 
and level 3 also.
