EXAM PREP RESOURCES FOR
REVISED LPIC-1 & LPIC-2 EXAMS: Included below is a list of exam preparation resources that will track to our new LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams to be published April 1, 2009. Where an url or link is not provided it is because we have not yet received a corresponding link to the new material. Where possible we have indicated what language it is available in. If you are aware of other exam preparation material that will be developed to track to our revised exams please respond directly to this mailing list or to Scott Lamberton, Director of Communications at [email protected] 1. LPI Approved courseware providers The following is a list of training material and courseware providers who previously obtained the LPI Approved Training Materials (LPI-ATM) status and who have indicated to us they are updating their material. *AT Computing (www.atcomputing.nl/Algemeen/LPI.html) AT Computing is updating its present LPIC-1 materials and is developing new LPIC-2 courseware (both in Dutch) that will track to the new exams. Release date to be announced. *Guru Labs (www.gurulabs.com) Gurulabs may update both LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 courseware materials (English). Date of availability to be announced. In addition to courseware, Gurulab instructors have a "blog" in which they provide free advice on exam preparation. *Linup Front (www.linupfront.de) Presently has LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 updated courseware in both English & German. Linup Front has other exam preparation materials including an LPI test simulator, "LPI Academy" and an LPIC-1 workshop. Please see their website for details. *Sybex (http://www.sybex.com/go/lpic2e/) Sybex has both an updated LPIC-1 book and courseware available at the link provided above. *VIASINC (www.viasinc.com) VIASINC has indicated that it will have updated courseware sometime in April 2009. 2.
