I agree to Maddogs point of view about LPI study materials. Besides it should be mentioned that each local market needs a certain saturation before training materials will be produced in the local language. E.g. I had some correspondance with a publisher at Poland and he wanted to get detailed LPI exam numbers before his decision to invest into new training materials in Polish language. In the German speaking part of Europe the LPI model works well because of a high number of LPI alumni. There exist at least four different up to date books and training materials for LPIC-1 in German.
