This was not spam. It did come from LPI. However, we did use a mailing list service. There was a problem with some first names in the mailing as was stated in the correction email. These emails were obtained as you are members of LPI and applied for the CLA offer (e.g. those with LPIC-1 are eligible for Novell CLA). Feel free to write my directly if you have any further questions. thanks, scott -- Scott Lamberton Director of Communications Linux Professional Institute http://www.lpi.org [email protected] +1-905-269-0862 > > regards > > ================================================= > HEADER: > > From: "LPI incentives" <[email protected]> > To: <MyMailadress> > Subject: Congratulations: Prometric Exam Voucher offer from LPI > > > CONTENT: > > Congratulations: Prometric Exam Voucher offer from LPI! > > Dear James <MyLastname>: > > LPI extends its congratulations to you for having taken the initiative of > applying for your Novell CLA certification > based on our announcement in February: > http://www.lpi.org/eng/certification/lpi_and_novell_partnership > > Given your participation in this program, we at LPI see that you take an > active interest in pursuing your professional > credentials.
