LPI offers promotional exams at Indiana LinuxFest

(Sacramento, CA, USA: April 4, 2012) The Linux Professional Institute
(LPI), the world's premier Linux certification organization
(http://www.lpi.org), announced promotional exam labs for their Linux
Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) at Indiana LinuxFest (ILF:
http://www.indianalinux.org/), April 13-15, 2012 at the Wyndam
Indianapolis West Hotel, Indianapolis. During the conference LPI will
also host an information booth and LPIC-1 Exam Cram sessions.

LinuxFest--now in its second year.  The return of ILF this year is
indicative of the ongoing growth of Linux and Open Source Software

LPI exam labs will be on Sunday, April 15th at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the
Wyndam Indianapolis West Hotel on the last day of ILF.  All exams will
be available at the promotional price of $99 per exam, except for

To register for an LPI exam at ILF you may email [email protected] and
indicate which time slot and exams you are interested in. Please bring
picture ID and your LPI ID to the exam lab. LPI IDs can be obtained by
registering online at: https://cs.lpi.org/caf/Xamman/register

In addition, an LPIC-1 Exam Cram Session is available on Friday, April
13th, as part of ILF Professional Day. The LPIC-1 Exam Cram session will
be led by Ross Brunson, LPI’s Director of Member Services. These
sessions will assist exam candidates in preparing for the LPIC-1 exams.
Exam cram sessions include information on exam structure, question
types, and how to use practical experience and one’s knowledge of Linux
to determine the correct answers to exam questions. Participants in
these exam cram sessions will also gain important tips, tricks and
techniques in order to successfully complete and pass their LPI exams.
Ross is an experienced presenter on this subject and welcomes all
questions during his exam cram sessions.

Registration for ILF is free of charge.  However, there is an additional
fee for the LPIC-1 Exam Cram Sessions (all proceeds to ILF).  Exam Cram
