This course makes Linux fundamentals accessible to thousands of learners worldwide from high school to university through the Cisco NetSpace. The course features an embedded Linux virtual machine so students can have hands on practice with the Linux command line, without increasing the IT burden on academic institutions. Read more: https://www.lpi.org/news/cisco-networking-academy-adopts-course-aligned-lpi-linux-essentials-certificate Linux Professional Institute Certifications Awarded e-Skills Quality Label by EXIN Supported by the European e-Skills Association LPI certifications were recently awarded the first e-Skills Quality Label by EXIN based on the European e-Competence Framework (e-CF). The framework is designed to standardize 40 Information and Communications Technology (ICT) competencies, skills and proficiency levels across Europe. The goal of this effort is to increase the transparency, mobility and efficiency of ICT sector related human resources. Our new exams will launch in January 2015 and certification candidates will have the opportunity to take either the new exam or the current version through June 2015. We introduced this change to our exam rollout process to allow candidates the option to test on the version that they have been recently studying from.
