For 303 you should be aware of the upcoming exam version 2. The new
objectives can be found at
http://wiki.lpi.org/wiki/LPIC-303_Objectives_V2 . The new version will
be available somewhen around the end of this year / the beginning of the
next your and as usual both versions will be available for a transition
period of time. Depending on then you want to take the exam you should
decide which version you'd like to take before digging too deep into
subjects you may not need.

That said, I think that due to the number of different topics in 303
you'll need a combination of several learning sources. Regarding the
encryption and SSL/TLS objectives I liked "Bullet Proof SSL and TLS"
(https://www.feistyduck.com/books/bulletproof-ssl-and-tls/) very much.
For the numerous smaller tools I would start with a combination of the
original documentation plus some practical experiments. For the other
large topics that require contextual knowledge I am sure that good
literature exists in english, though I don't know it good enough to
provide you with profound recommendation. However, I would be
interesting in any favourite books or sources all of you may have!

Those are, as always, my personal thoughts. Regarding the exam, make
sure that you include all objectives in your study and try to find
documentation that fits your preferences of style and taste.

Enjoy your study and good luck for the exam!

Fabian
