LPI and Red Hat have always had Security at all levels. <Personal History> I'll be blunt, in 2002-2003, I was Linux+, LPIC-1/2 and RHCT/RHCE certified, all 3 sets taken. Linux+ was a joke, and the industry said so, with LPI and Red Hat having 10x as many certified.
That's why it wasn't a shocker that CompTIA came to LPI, and partnered. </Personal History> I wish CompTIA all the best in their new program, and I'm going to be watching closely. If they showcase new merits, then they will rewrite their history, in a positive way. So let's all just sit back and let it happen, and re-evaluate after such. -- Sent from my Moto G7 Power, apologies for any brevity as well as the satanic versus of autocorrect Bryan J Smith - http://linkedin.com/in/bjsmith On Fri, May 3, 2019, 16:15 BHL <[email protected]> wrote: > Yeah I think they meant virtualization. > > Wondering what their git & automation is, was thinking it's on the lines > of Chef/Ansible or some other open source DevOps. > > As for their security focus in Linux+, it's probably the increased need > for cybersecurity. > > > > Sent with ProtonMail <https://protonmail.com> Secure Email. > > ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Original Message ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ > On Friday, May 3, 2019 1:12 PM, G.
