Sorry for the late response, your emails ended up in my spam folder and it was only by luck that I was looking in my spam folder for something else that I saw your emails. I'm guessing that this has happened to others on the list as I rarely get false positives...It could be that shady yahoo.com domain in your address. ;) An even better place, which would be more preemptive, is to join the BSD Advisory Committee (BSDAC). It was formed with a number of people from the BSD Certification Group but it could use some fresh faces. It would be a fairly low commitment of your time, too. If you're interested, contact me off list and I'll make appropriate introductions. As NetBSD 9.0 has just been released (but not announced yet as I > write), rtsol and rtsold have been deprecated in favour of dhcpcd(8): > https://netbsd.gw.com/cgi-bin/man-cgi?rtsol++NetBSD-9.0 I've forwarded your emails to Fabian, the person leading the certification development efforts, too. He's on the same mail system so I'm guessing the same spam folder problem happened with him. > (Incidentally and possibly off-topic, it'd be great to have some more > discussion on the BSD Specialist certification, including possible > re-certification and upgrade paths) > This is definitely a topic for the BSDAC. Although, I'm sure some of the folk on this list would be interested in these topics (and are welcome to join the BSDAC, too), the committee would be able to focus on the topics wthout distractions (or distracting others). Welcome to the list, too. Take care, --matt -- G. Matthew Rice <[email protected]> gpg id: 0x17CF9077 Executive Director, Linux Professional Institute
