Hi Sergio, Yes, the membership dues are annual. Since the mechanism for maintaining membership eligibility is an active certification and three year PDU cycle is one of the ways to maintain your certification's status, there's also a discounted three year option. Membership renewal dates are on the anniversary of joining, too.
We're going to do a round of clean up on the membership program docs soon, too. I'll add this to the list of clarifications needed.
