Bryan. Matthew, Thanks for you feedback. I am not replying point by point yet because I want to see if somebody else wants to add to the plate.
At this stage, I can only say that I had been aware of the links you both pointed out for some time before the exam came live. In fact, there is an email of mine of 4.10.2019 to [email protected], asking: > On this page: > http://bsdcertification.org/news/linux-professional-institute-and-bsd- > certification-group-join-efforts.html > > which dates back to a couple of years ago, I read an announcement > about a partnership between the LPI and the BSD Certification > Group (BSDCG). Unfortunately, I can't see anything related on the > lpi.org website. > > Could you please tell me what has come about of this partnership? And the reply was: > Yes, our partnership is still active and development of the BSD > certification is nearly complete. We're hoping to have it live on > the website by the end of the month. Please note that there was a mention of "partnership", not just LPI basically taking over the old BSD certification group. While I commend the LPI for expanding into the unbeaten path, it seems to me that the "BSD specialist" is, not necessarily on purpose, an empty shell. _______________________________________________ lpi-examdev mailing list [email protected] https://list.lpi.org/mailman/listinfo/lpi-examdev
