Hi,
Filled in the form. Did not know what to answer regarding which field I
can write about because it does not state at what level you want
materials written.
Where's the asciidoc git repo? :-)

Hi Jeroen,
I'm glad you hear you'd like to help. Markus is on the list, he will
reach out to you.
So far most of the preparations for StartIT happened in our product
development team, in consultation with LPI's Academic Advisory
Committee. We see a very different target audience for StartIT than we
see for our certificates and certifications, that is why we started
the consultations and developments with the AAC whose members directly
work with the major target audience; i.e. non-professionals in their
general education. The pages on the wiki you guys found are the first
steps to open this up to a bigger community, including this list,
solicit more feedback and get more people involved, which seems to
happen faster than we thought now :).
We've also prepared a form to express interest in helping. We're still
early in the process, but since you've asked, here it is:
https://forms.gle/Smh9DijAsjhEyFPq7 <https://forms.gle/Smh9DijAsjhEyFPq7>
Participation is open to anyone, if you'd like to help, please submit
the form. If you prefer to avoid Google Forms, ping Markus or me directly.
We do have a sample unit already, but so far it only serves as an
example for other authors. Our designers work on the artwork and
website, and we're working on the build pipelines (an adoption of the
GitLab, Asciidoc, Hugo, Docker, k8s workflow we already use for the
learning materials). Once this is set up we intend to employ a
continuous release strategy where we publish individual units and
translations whenever they are ready and celebrate specific milestones
whenever its last piece went online.
Feel free to bring up any ideas or concerns up there, or let us know
if you'd like to help :)

Hi,
Regarding StartIT, so, I read "The program contains comprehensive
learning materials, a library of additional references and resources".
Just wondering if there already is something?
Or where the discussion takes place.
Does Markus Wirtz read these emails? (if so, please DM me)
Love to get involved on this project.
Regards,
Jeroen Baten
