I know that the LPIC-1 exams (101-500 and 102-500) are currently on
version 5.0 and have been out since 2020--after only a 3 year wait; the
LPIC-2 exams, however, are still on version 4.5 and have been for over
/five years/. When should we expect new versions of LPIC-2 exams to be
released?
I'd love to pursue another LPI certification, as the LPIC objectives
provide a /great/ reference of things to learn and know in the Linux
ecosystem. However, the content covered in most certification objectives
tends to lag behind the cutting-edge of industry as it is, and I really
don't want to spend time learning things that may be considerably more
than 5 years out of date.
As things currently stand, when should we expect LPIC-2 version 5.0?
