This is coming from what used to be [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Those two were the main lists for discussion
of LPI exam development issues. We are transitioning from Linuxcare's servers to
our own and at the same time we are changing our listserv daemon from majordomo
to Listar (see http://www.listar.org for more information on Listar). LPI is not
using sendmail for our mailer daemon either. We are using postfix which is very,
very fast (see http://www.postfix.org).
At the request of Scott Murray, LPI's lead psychometrician we have combined the
program and exam-dev lists together into one list. All of you (the subscribers
to the liat :-) were on one list or the other, or both. We have combined them to
facilitate better and more streamlined discussion.
We are working hard to improve the speed of our lists and to get control of our
own archives... and we needed to tell you what we're doing...
The new address for posting to the list is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The new address for subscribe and unsubscribe requests is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The procedure is simple...
To subscribe you just put the following in the subject of an email:
subscribe lpi-examdev
To unsubscribe you put:
unsubscribe lpi-examdev
That's about it...
For those of you who are on our other lists please be patient... we will be
transitioning those lists as well!
