Thank you for all the feedback on the general job description! I apologize
that I didn't get the remaining sections out for discussion :(
Unfortunately my Internet connection while at Linux World fell through.

The following messages are going to focus on some general technical
aspects. In the job description itself we are not going to focus on
technical specifics. For instance, we aren't going to say "Level 2 is
required to know RAID". Therefore, please keep these following discussions
to topic. The "Technical Requirements" themselves are not going to remain
in the official job description. They are only being used during
development to help emphasize differences between Level 1 and 2, and help
the upcoming objective writers and psychometricians work on the next step
of development.

As last time, please review the section in question, and then answer the
questions below.

Section for review: Topic 1: User Administration

Text: Many topics within User Administration have been covered in the
Level 1 exam. In level 2, LPIC needs to cover the engineering, management,
and maintenance of the systems required for network users. Administration
of authentication policies, remote user access to things such as ftp,
telnet, and secure connections. The skills used in User Administration are
essential to the foundation of all Linux sysadmins. These mastered skills
will not be tested specifically during advanced levels of certification,
but are required to complete the tasks that will be involved.

Kara's Comments: The purpose of Topic 1, User Administration, was to help
you visualize the level of User Administration a Level 2 would have over a
Level 1.

Q1: Do you feel that the above does outline User Administration types of
tasks that Level 2 sysadmins do more often than Level 1?

Q1 Answer/Comment:

---

Q2: On a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being not important, and 5 being most
important, how would you scale the importance of advanced User
Administration Tasks to a Level 2 sysadmin?

Q2 Answer/Comment:

---

Q3: Knowing that the majority of daily User Administration was covered in
Level 1, please review the objectives for Level 1 on the website if you
aren't familiar with these objectives. Are there any other _specific_
tasks you would have added here that are more advanced than Level 1?
Please list single topics, not explanations or narratives here.
