I need a volunteer who knows Perl to work on some scripts to support LPI's
testing. A level of 3-6 hours/week over this spring and summer would be
sufficient. Having more time would be even better but it is more important
that you can maintain this level of contribution for this length of time.
The work is not hard and, in fact, simpler Perl that is easier for a
psychometrician to maintain would be better. The scripts will do things
like manipulate data (tab-delimited ASCII and MySQL), produce simple
reports, and perhaps compute a few simple statistics. Later we may get into
some CGI programming to support real-time reporting.

You will need access to a Linux machine running a relatively recent version
of Perl and MySQL. Work products that legally could be, would be expected
to be released under the GPL.

In return, you'll have LPI's gratitude and the self-satisfaction of having
helped LPI help Linux.

Please reply back to me.

Thanks you!
