Seems like with Obj 2 (Adding New Hardware) we're also looking at
modprobe and any /etc/modules.conf options required for the hardware.
But who memorizes such things? The modules options are seemingly
endless.
For the PCMCIA stuff, it's the *.opt files down in /etc/pcmcia that
count. I wouldn't, however, include stuff like the hermes.conf which
(at least when I installed mine) was a foreign file not included with
the pcmcia_cs stuff. The main file to configure here is
/etc/pcmcia/network.opts.
The main program with PCMCIA would be the cardctl program, but there's
also the cardmgr program that should be called from the startup script
(or wherever in Slackware).
