This is a good question. No tasks were submitted for these other
applications during the Job Analysis Survey, so we have no data on the
implementation of other apps other than sendmail and majordomo.
Can someone give me details on the licensing status of these applications,
specifically postfix, qmail, and mailman? Are all of these GPL'ed or are
any of them under other licenses (or require other non GPL'ed components?)
What distributions use these applications as default servers over sendmail
and majordomo?
With this information, I can discuss with LPI staff (and perhaps our Item
Writing team) specifically our psychometrician about inclusion now, or
whether to save for future level, or future Level 2 revision.
