Subject: Area Survey for Level
2
Hi Everyone,
I have a quick little survey that we need your input on. Our goal is to
determine the weights of the various areas of Level 2 thus specifying the
coverage (how many items) should be used for each area on the Level 2
exams.
Below are the 14 areas we have covered. Please rate each area by a) what %
of time you feel the specified area consumes in your experience of a Level
2 Admin, and b) what % of importance that area has to your job. For each
rating type, all 14 areas much total 100. An example follows:
Objective % Time % Importance
------------------------------------------------------
DNS 15 20
Filesystem 5 5
File & Service Sharing 5 5
Hardware 1 1
Kernel 15 20
Mail & News 5 5
Network Clients 5 5
General Networking 15 30
Security 11 20
System Startup 1 5
System Maintenance 1 5
System Customization 1 1
Troubleshooting 30 30
Web Services 2 2
------------------------------------------
TOTAL 100 100
Please submit your feedback on this ASAP, preferably by July 23, 01. To
review the objectives that these areas cover to properly determine what
the time or importance value is from your experience, visit

Thank-you for your feedback! Your submission is very important to our
final stages of development!
