It seems to be fixed. I'm running a Mandrake 7.2 server with reiserfs and
have no prblems exporting that via nfs. Mostly to a mix of RH6.2 and MD 7.2
machines.

You're probably right there, but I have found that setting up a client linux
PC talking to a windows wins server makes it a bit easier for users.
