I thought this would be a good time to clarify something. I actually look 
for people to participate who aren't native English speakers. Having 
participation from you gives me two major advantages. First, your 
technical culture is different, thus concepts and things that you use may 
be different from what US/Canada uses. (e.g. In Europe ISDN is more common 
and is a more basic skill than in the US/Canada). As we are an 
international program, I want to ensure we address this! Second, people 
speak English differently and in the very beginning we made the mistake of 
using some Anglo-saxon English which not only didn't translate well, but 
isn't read well by non-native English speakers. Having you involved in the 
early phases helps to prevent problems which may be a disadvantage to 
non-native candidates.

I am very excited about the number of people from all over the world who 
wish to help. Personally, I enjoy this exposure to culture :-) It's our 
unique position to be within the Linux community that allows us to 
successfully be an International Organization, and it's your participation 
that makes that happen!
