Perhaps the LPI site would benefit from our 404 system. As an LPI member, I would be happy to give our code for free to the LPI site.

Go to www.ricis.com and scroll to the bottom of the page. You can take a look at what we have done. Essentaiily we hook the 404 not found page and database any errors, We send email to the webmaster to address any broken / moved pages. We also generate redirects. We even have a gateway handler to handle links to off-site pages.
