At CeBIT a press representative raised the question if the exam
objectives should cover i18n and l10n issues more detailed.

I agree that a linux system has to be modified very often by the systems
administrator wrt i18n/l10 due to flaws of the distribution or due to
special demands by the user.

I could imagine some points like:

* Keyboard (e.g. Compose; Mode switch; understanding the path from
Keycodes over Keysyms, xterm translations to readline commands in an X
terminal)
* Fonts and character sets (Unicode)
* GNU C Library: locale
