Recently, I received an e-mail purportedly from Pearson/VUE saying that at my request, they had changed my password and account details for LPI certification exams.

Unfortunately, I have made no such request.

Has anyone else had this happen to them recently?

Anyone know what's going on?

(Pearson/VUE appear to be aware that the request may not have come from me -- this suggests some sort of ongoing theft of identity scam that they know about.)

What happens if I go to their site and use this new ID?
Does my bank account get emptied (again)?

Any comments appreciated.
