I am assuming that since this went out to all you are looking for generic feedback.
Of course, a hands on test such as the 2nd part of CCIE is ideal. They do part 1 as a computer based test. So prehaps the agony of logisitcs of a hands on can be miminized by a part 1 on computer (form based) llike Cisco does. The largest challange I see across the board on a L-3 exam are the differences between Debian and RPM. My thoughts. I'll shut up now. Tcat Save A Frog! You probably mean hands on exams, exams - where candidates have to perform tasks on a Linux system. - - We need a discussion that is based on facts and I'm curious to see what - others think about it. - - BTW: As a distribution neutral certification, what would your choice be - if a L3 exam would be offered as hands on? - - Again, my questions above do not mean that there is any decision already - taken.
