While I find these events very interesting, I cannot participate

As far as I know there is no way to do that. Subscribing to the RSS
feed of the appropriate wiki page is chaotic. All I get is
incomprehensible information snippets.

If there is anyone else interested in this, perhaps you should
consider something like a blog where you could post meeting logs, irc
or physical ones, and general progress evaluation.

Alternatively, you could do that in this (or other) mailing list.
Either way works for me. Just give people an easy way to track what
you do and perhaps they'll jump in when they see something
interesting.
